All Sides with Ann Fisher

Description
On Election Day, Ohio voters will get their chance to weigh in on Senate Bill 5, the new law that limits collective bargaining rights of public employees and bans public employees from striking. Senate Bill 5 basically gutted another law that had been on the books since 1983. But Ohio voters as far back as 1953 addressed the issue of worker rights. In this hour of All Sides, learn about the history behind Senate Bill five with two veteran journalists and a history scholar.

Guests:

* William Hershey (Columbus Bureau Correspondent, Dayton Daily News)

* John Green (Distinguished Professor of Political Science, University of Akron)

* Eugene Branstool (sponsor of 1983 Collective Bargaining law)

* Lee Leonard (veteran statehouse reporter)
