All Sides with Ann Fisher

Description
Governor Kasich recently proposed a budget that includes a 23 percent cut in the state's income tax, and a half-cent increase on sales tax. He's also proposed a dollar-per-pack increase on cigarettes. This hour we'll talk about who benefits and who doesn't from the proposals, and we'll examine the role of taxes as a deterrent to tobacco use.

Guests:

Joseph Testa, tax commissioner, Ohio Dept of Taxation

Zach Schiller, research director at Policy Matters Ohio

Shelly Kiser, director of advocacy, American Lung Association of Ohio

Frank Chaloupka, professor of economics, University of Illinois at Chicago
