Election day 2021 is just over two weeks away and the Virginia gubernatorial contest is the race to watch in this off-year election.
The state has been getting bluer year by year since President Obama became the first Democrat to win there in a presidential election there since the 1960s. However, with President Biden's agenda stalling nationally and his approval rating slipping more each day, the race has become closer than Democrats would like.
And the January 6 Committee is preparing to enforce subpoenas issued against former members of the Trump administration, among them former advisor Steve Bannon.
