Nearly 1 in 5 households nationwide adopted a pet during the pandemic, according to a survey conducted by The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
That's a lot of people raising and training a pet for the first time.
For the most part it hasn't been a problem but some animals can suffer from anxiety or have behavioral problems that need to be corrected.
