For central Ohio restaurants, the struggles and challenges of 2021 have carried over into the new year. The industry continues to wrestle with staff shortages, supply chain issues and the highly contagious Omicron variant.

While 2021 saw a number of popular restaurants close, a number of new places are opening this year despite the challenges.
