All Sides with Ann Fisher

Description
Carpentry, plumbing and electrical work are skilled trades that have provided a comfortable living for many generations.

However, these and other traditionally hands-on jobs may not have enough workers to go around.

We'll look at what the decline in technical fields will mean for the economy and what can be done to recruit more workers.

Guests:

Paul Iversen, Labor Educator at the University of Iowa Labor Center
Terreia Smalls, Business Manager/Financial Secretary Treasurer for Washington DC Local 5 Plumbers
Kelly Harrop, Outreach Director, Columbus Central/Ohio Building and Construction Trades Council
