Description
Recent developments have questioned the future of television.

CBS announced the cancellation of the Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Also, the lion's share of Emmy nominations went to streaming exclusives.

Cornerstones of networks, like long serialized programs and late-night shows, seem to be on the decline, but are households enthusiastic about the switch to all streaming?

Shows like Severance, The Pitt and Andor seem to be sweeping the Emmy's this year, do these shows deserve the praise, and what should we be keeping an eye on over the next couple of months?

Guests:

Michael Schneider, executive editor of TV at Variety
Robert Thompson, professor of media studies at Syracuse University
David Bianculli, TV Critic for NPR's Fresh Air w/ Terry Gross and professor at Rowan University
