Jeni Britton Bauer has been making ice cream since 1996, and now operates 9 stores in Ohio (8 of them in Central Ohio). Using fresh, local and seasonal ingredients, all of her ice creams are hand-crafted in her production kitchen in Columbus.

In 2006, Food & Wine Magazine asked if she'd be interested in adapting some of her signature recipes for home machines. The result is "Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams at Home" which features a Chamomile-Chardonnay recipe that Jeni says "will please mothers everywhere," and a frozen spin on her grandmother's hot-toddy recipe of whiskey, honey and lemon juice that despite its name (Influenza Sorbet) is sure to make you feel better.
