Using Research-Based Strategies for School Improvement in Ohio
"Using Research-Based Strategies for School Improvement in Ohio," is a program designed to help Ohioans gain a better understanding of the research around school turnaround and school improvement. Moderator Sam Stringfield, Ph.D., professor and director of the School of Education at the University of Cincinnati, will talk with Jessica Johnson of the American Institutes for Research,, Pamela VanHorn of the Ohio Department of Education), and Patrick Callaghan from Southwestern City Schools. They will discuss the practical issues surrounding the implementation of school improvement strategies at the state, district, and school levels. This program is a production of WVIZ/PBS ideastram®, in partnership with Regional Educational Laboratory (REL) Midwest.
