Lt. Governor Jon Husted, Director of InnovateOhio, will host a special event today, in collaboration with the Ohio Department of Higher Education, that will showcase Ohio's IP talent and highlight the state's efforts to make universities more attractive to innovators and entrepreneurs.
The event will promote PITCH X: From Lab to Market, a series of recorded "talks" that feature university entrepreneurs as they discuss technologies ready for commercialization. By raising awareness for breakthrough technologies developed right here in Ohio, PITCH X is helping connect university research with private sector investment as Ohio grows its innovation economy.
