Gov. Ted Strickland announces Nancy Hardin Rogers as Ohio's new attorney general. Rogers, who has served as dean at the Moritz College of Law and The Ohio State University, will serve as attorney general until the November 2008 election when voters will elect a new candidate to fill the remainder of the term vacated by Marc Dann who resigned on May 14, 2008.
