Feagler and Friends - Paula Kerger, President and CEO, PBS

Paula Kerger, President and CEO, Public Broadcasting Service

Kerger was in Cleveland last week for the premiere of the PBS documentary "Women Who Rock." PBS draws viewers from 124-million American households monthly and many of the viewers are children. For millions of American youngsters, PBS is pre-school with regular installments of Sesame Street, Clifford the Big Red Dog and Dinosaur Train, children are being simultaneously entertained and educated. There's ample programming for adults too with major doses of science, history and the arts. Kerger discusses the future of the network in challenging economic and political times.

Les Roberts, author, The Strange Death of Father Candy

The popular mystery writer steps slightly out of character for his latest novel. Roberts leaves Cleveland behind for a tale of murder and the mob in Youngstown. This time the action swirls around an Italian-American family and does not involve private-eye protagonist Milan Jacovich, the focus of 15 previous novels. Roberts talks with Mr. Feagler about the plot of Father Candy and gives us some hints on what's ahead for Milan Jacovich whose new adventure should hit the bookstores this spring.
