Richard Cordray was elected Ohio Attorney General in November 2008. He previously served as Ohio Treasurer of State, Franklin County Treasurer, State Representative, and as Ohio's first Solicitor General. He is also an accomplished lawyer, a graduate of Oxford University and the University of Chicago Law School, was an instructor of constitutional law at the Ohio State University for 13 years, and is a five-time undefeated champion on Jeopardy! In a recent BusinessWeek article, he was compared to Eliot Spitzer and Rudy Guiliani for his tough and proactive attack against Wall Street investment firms and banks.
