John C. Green is the Director of the Ray C. Bliss Institute of Applied Politics, a bipartisan research and teaching institute dedicated to the nuts and bolts of practical politics. The Bliss Institute offers training and internships in applied politics, sponsors conferences and speakers, and conducts research. In this capacity, Green is widely known as an observer of Ohio and national politics. He is frequently quoted in the national and state media on elections, campaign finance, and party politics. Green's research interests are diverse, including American political parties, campaign finance, and religion and politics.
