Blizzard of '78 Remembered

This is the story of a devastating blizzard which struck Northwest Ohio hard in 1978. This documentary focuses on a three-day period, describing
the storm hitting the area and all the immediate havoc it caused; how it affected people in Northwest Ohio, most of whom were unprepared for the blizzard; what the snowbound did to survive the storm (some did not); and what people did to make the best of a bad situation. These are tragic, admirable, and humorous tales. The hour-long program follows the stories of selected Northwest Ohio residents through this unforgettable period. Archival footage, photos and television news stories helps present the program visually.
