The first African-American military pilots served in World War II, and later were stationed near Columbus, Ohio. Living historian Anthony Gibbs will dress as one of the Tuskegee Airmen, and illustrate the challenges they faced while defending our country. A live online Q-and-A session will follow the pre-recorded show.

In honor of Black History Month, We've Known Rivers presents special virtual performances to commemorate the African American experience in American history through engaging first-person presentations. Presented in conjunction with the Ohio Statehouse Museum and The Ohio Channel.
