Attorney General Mike DeWine - Announcing Violent Career Criminal Act
Attorney General Mike DeWine and Sen. Jim Hughes (R-Columbus) hold a press conference announcing the Violent Career Criminal Act. The legislation is aimed at decreasing violent gun crimes by proposing longer prison sentences for certain repeat offenders convicted of a crime involving a firearm. It also changes prison terms for some repeat offenders convicted of gun specifications. Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O'Brien is also in attendance.
