Meet blues guitarist Sean Carney as he talks about music and the value of passing on the tradition of the Blues. A Columbus native, Sean plays all over the world and with all kinds of musicians. ArtZine follows Sean as he conducts a Master Blues Guitar Class at the Jazz Arts Group that allows him to teach up and coming guitarists a few tricks of the trade.

Local painter Duarte Brown shows how the new movement of Performance Painting is done - where painters, rappers, singers and dancers get together and make a one-of-a-kind experience. Duarte is a master artist in the TRANSIT ARTS program - a program that helps teens focus their energy on art. Transit Arts is the local connection to the nationwide surge of Performance Painting and has hosted events for a few years now.

And the Roy G Biv Gallery, along with the Short Stop Youth Center, shows us that doors, yes those things with hinges and knobs, are not just for opening and closing. Find out how the painting of doors along the Short North is opening up new horizons for artists young and old.
