Applause - Bluesman Colin Dussault

When you think of manufacturing in Northeast Ohio, steel and rubber probably come to mind. For over a century, though, another kind of metal work has been taking place in our own backyard that's brought enjoyment to millions all over the world. We'll find out why Conn-Selmer outshines other instrument manufacturers. Here's the report from ideastream producer Bridget Whelan and Dan Polletta.

Bluesman Colin Dussault is considered one of the hardest working musicians in Northeast Ohio, and he's hard at it again. The tenth album from this self-described workaholic is Colonized. And Colin Dussault, and his Blues Project Band, join us in our Westfield Insurance Studio Theater at Playhouse Square.

As an avid outdoorsman, Larry Isard may have taken life while in pursuit of his one-time passion for hunting, but it was also that time spent in the great outdoors that led him to give something back. From his many years spent in the woodlands around Northeast Ohio, Larry gained a deep appreciation and respect for nature. So much so, that it led to his career as a taxidermist at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, and to a second career as a wildlife artist.
