igarette use among high school and college age students is way down - a public health victory. But young people are increasingly turning to alternative forms of tobacco, most notably hookah and small cigars. According to a recent study, 1 in 5 Cuyahoga County high school students has smoked tobacco in the last month. The trend is alarming some experts, who say hookah can be even more harmful than cigarettes.
