Donald trump's social media platform Truth Social may be forced to liquidate if a related investment company fails to garner enough shareholder votes to extend a merger and keep the money flowing.
That would leave Trump without a megaphone, albeit one that reached far fewer than when he was a Twitter denizen.
The @realdonaldtrump handle had amassed 88.7 million followers by the time Twitter suspended it in January 2021. At truth social, his posts reach just a little over four million followers.
