All Sides with Ann Fisher

Description
Smartmatic, an election technology company, filed a $2.7 billion lawsuit against Fox News among others, accusing the network of acting as a megaphone for election misinformation. Dominion Voting Systems has filed similar suits against lawyers for the Trump campaign, Rudi Giuliani, and Sidney Powell.

Both companies have been at the center of election conspiracy theories which falsely allege massive voter fraud in the 2020 election.

Closer to home, in Stark County, Republican officials are facing pushback over their recent decision to purchase Dominion voting machines.

Today on All Sides with Ann Fisher we talk about the fallout from election conspiracy theories.

Guests:
Kathleen Bartzen Culver, director, University of Wisconsin-Madison Center for Journalism Ethics
Aaron Ockerman, executive director, Ohio Association of Election Officials
