Gov. Mike DeWine on Sunday told CNN that he was not contacted by the White House after President Trump tested positive for COVID-19, following the debate last week in Cleveland.
Trump remains in the hospital, although his medical team said he could be released as early as Monday.
Meanwhile, COVID-19 deaths in Ohio dropped to zero on Sunday - a first since March.
