Ohio election workers are busy verifying nearly one million signatures delivered last week by supporters of abortion rights and legal recreational marijuana.
That's the first step in determining which constitutional amendments voters will see in November.
An even bigger step comes in August when voters decide Issue 1, a measure to make it harder to amend the state constitution.
If approved, the higher 60% threshold - along with other requirements - could derail both the abortion issue and marijuana measure.
