Vivian Wagner is a writer, professor and... fiddler. Having been trained on the violin and classical music at an early age, her mother always encouraged her consider learning the fiddle. It wasn't until she had children of her own that she finally picked up the instrument that would take her on a journey of a lifetime.
"Fiddle" is part memoir, part travelogue, part music history that follows Wagner's personal journey - both physical and emotional - through learning this four-stringed instrument. Vivian Wagner visits Writers Talk to share her story and to give us a sample of her musical talent.
