Rita Mae Brown, a New York Times best-selling author, has dozens of titles to her name, including the popular "Mrs. Murphy" mystery series co-authored by her cat Sneaky Pie Brown, and the "Sister" Jane Foxhunting mysteries. Her first book, "Rubyfruit Jungle" came out in 1973, and she visited Writers Talk to discuss her love of animals and her latest memoir, "Animal Magnetism: My Life with Creatures Great and Small."
