Metro Early College High School entered the Writers Talk Essay Contest with an emphasis on an authentic audience. Led by Jenell Penn, an English teacher at Metro, Riley Patrick and Elisabeth Spector won the contest. The students joined Writers Talk to describe their love of reading and writing in their winning essays.
