Julie L. Moore is a poet and also serves as the director of the Writing Center at Cedarville University. She visits Writers Talk to share some of the poetry in her latest book, "Slipping Out of Bloom," which involves subjects of faith, truth and sacrifice.
Moore also shares some advice from former U.S. Poet Laureate Donald Hall: "If it's self-expression you're after, keep a journal. If you're wanting to write poetry and you want to publish that poetry, then you're going to have to revise massively, all the time."
