Walmart, America's largest employer, recently announced a pay raise half a million of its associates: To nine bucks an hour by April and $10 bucks a year from now. This as the behemoth retailer continues to be criticized for its low wages and benefits and its reliance on part-time workers. Amid national debate about hiking the minimum wage, what impact will Walmart's pay bump make?
