Play

Everyone knows the holidays can be stressful. It's all well and good to be told to "just relax." But how can you do that? On Monday's Sound of Ideas, we'll give you practical techniques for how to de-stress over the holidays, and throughout the year. Mindfulness-based stress reduction, deep breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, laughter, cooking, even having a cuddle with a favorite pet-we'll explore the potential stress-relieving benefits of all of these techniques. We'll also talk about what science tells us about their effectiveness, and share more tips for keeping your emotional health in good shape this season.
