The Sound of Ideas - Shall We Keep the Grand Jury?

Play

State Senator Sandra Williams has reached her verdict: the Grand Jury system, she says, must be abolished because those juries are too secretive and too powerful. Prosecutors say the secrecy is intentional to protect the accused before they're actually charged with a felony. We'll discuss that on The Sound of Ideas and we'll get thoughts on another often-debated aspect of the legal system, the plea bargain. Join host Mike McIntyre Wednesday morning at 9:00.
