Dr. Akram Boutros has been at the helm of the MetroHealth System for a little more than a year. He's made many changes at Cuyahoga County's safety-net hospital, and has plans for many more. Wednesday morning at 9:00 on The Sound of Ideas, Dr. Boutros joins us to discuss MetroHealth's mission of delivering medical care, often to the poor, and to lay out his vision for the $400-million transformation of the hospital's main campus.
