The Sound of Ideas - 5-9-2019 GM In Talks To Sell Lordstown Plant; Cleveland Lead Safe Recommendations; Lara Lillibridge

Play

A coalition launched at the start of the year to tackle Cleveland's lead poisoning problem has presented nearly three dozen recommendations to council to make the city lead safe for children. Can the community conversations move from proposal to implementation? We'll get an update from coalition members and Councilman Blaine Griffin on the steps ahead. But first, General Motors says it is in talks to sell the shuttered Lordstown plant to an electric truck maker in Cincinnati. GM says it will bring jobs but the union isn't sold on the idea. Plus local author, Lara Lilligbridge discusses her just published second book, "Mama, Mama, Always Mama."
