Play

The United States locks up more people than any other nation. According to research by the Pew Charitable Trust, more than 2 million Americans are locked up throughout the United States in local, state and federal prisons combined. But at some point, an estimated 95 percent of those incarcerated will return home. Many returnees find it difficult to find work, housing and help. We'll discuss some of the barriers to re-entry and a new grant in Cuyahoga County to increase support for those returning. Plus we'll check in at the statehouse.

Crystal Bryant, Director, Cuyahoga County Office of Reentry

Ayesha Bell Hardaway, Assistant Professor of Law, Case Western Reserve University Law School
