Tax filing season is here, but will your tax return feel a little thin? Or nonexistent? Returns are down eight and a half percent this year, according to the Internal Revenue Service. This is the first year under the overhaul that Congress passed in 2017. Some deductions are gone, others capped. What does it mean for your tax bill? If you've already calculated your taxes. We'll consult a tax law expert to discuss how new tax laws might affect you. Later, we'll hear from the new CEO of the Cleveland Council of World Affairs about how she hopes to increase Northeast Ohio's engagement in global issues. Finally, we'll introduce you to Pete Buttigieg, the mayor of South Bend, Indiana who is eyeing a Democratic primary run for president in 2020.

Guests:
Deborah Geier, Professor of Law, Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, Cleveland State University

Carina Van Vliet, CEO, Cleveland Council on World Affairs
