Members of the Ohio House Republican Caucus join the Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC) Administrator/CEO Steve Buehrer in a press conference to discuss a recently introduced package of bills aimed at improving BWC effectiveness and outcomes.
According to Buehrer, the number of injured workers with lost-time claims who have returned to work has dropped from 75 to below 69 percent over the past five years. The bills that the House Republicans have introduced will address a variety of issues that have encumbered the BWC and prevented many injured workers from receiving the quality care they need.
