Press Conference, Legislative - Democrat Lawmakers Urge Consideration of Supreme Court Nominee
State Rep. Dan Ramos (D-Lorain) and State Sen. Michael Skindell (D-Lakewood) detail state-level efforts to urge the U.S. Senate to consider the nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court of Appeals Court Judge Merrick Garland. The president nominated Garland on March 16, and so far the U.S. Senate has not held hearings to consider his nomination.
