State Senator Matt Huffman (R-Lima) holds a press conference to announce legislation to set up a system to offer tax credit to individuals who make donations to scholarship granting organizations (SGOs).
The bill will allow Ohio to take advantage of the proposed Education Freedom Scholarship Program announced earlier this year by the U.S. Department of Education.
Joining Rep Huffman are: Assistant Secretary of Education Frank Brogan, U.S. Department of Education and Aaron Baer, Citizens for Community Values & Ohio Christian Education Network.
