Ag is Cool is program that was put together by the Ohio Department of Agriculture, the Ohio Farm Bureau, and the Ohio State Fair. It featured numerous stations across the fairgrounds that invited young people to learn about agriculture in Ohio in a hands-on way. The different stations allowed visitors to milk a real cow, spin and weave wool, drive a tractor simulator, see newborn animals, and learn how agriculture applies to their everyday lives.
A variety of Ohioans with different backgrounds and experience in agriculture tell why ag is so cool!
