The Ohio Channel and Ohio History Connection commemorate the 100th anniversary of President Warren G. Harding's inauguration by recounting the successes and scandals of his public life.

Harding was the last of eight Presidents hailing from Ohio. He began his career as a small businessman in Marion.

His charm and unique campaign style, coupled with an unusual time in the Republican political arena, helped him win the United States Presidency in 1920.

His wife, Florence Harding, paved a modern path for First Ladies as America entered a new age in industry, technology and culture.

Their distinctive place in Ohio and American history sets the stage for a compelling tale of the reshaping of America in the 20th Century.
