Ohio Ballot Board - 8-17-2017 Part 2

The Ohio Ballot Board will meet for the purpose of carrying out its duties under the Ohio Constitution Article II, Section I (g), including approving ballot language for the two statewide issues that will appear on the November 7, 2017 General Election ballot.

The Ballot Board will also direct the means by which the Secretary of State's office will disseminate information concerning the proposed ballot initiatives to the voters. The members will vote to authorize the Secretary of State to contract for the publication of the ballot language, explanations, and arguments in a newspaper of general circulation in each county in the state as required by the Ohio Constitution.

Secretary Husted serves as the Chairman of the Ohio Ballot Board. Other members include State Senator Jay Hottinger, State Senator Michael Skindell, State Representative Kathleen Clyde and Mr. William Morgan.
