WBGU-PBS' "NW Ohio Journal" featured a discussion about colon cancer, at 8 pm. Colon cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths in the Western World.

Host Barbara Kopp Miller was joined in the WBGU-PBS studio by: Beth Ann Hatkevich, Occupational Therapy Professor at the University of Toledo, Allan Miller MD, Toledo Proctologist and P.K. Chaudhuri MD, Surgical Oncologist at the University of Toledo Medical Center.

This program featured an informative discussion about what colon cancer is and the treatment options available. Beth Ann Hatkevich shares her personal experience as a colon cancer survivor.

Host Barbara Kopp Miller, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in Occupational Therapy, Medicine, Physician Assistant Studies and Family Medicine at the University of Toledo. She also serves as Administrative Director for the Center for Successful Aging.
