Lt. Governor Jon Husted - 3-9-2023 - Discussing Social Media Parental Notification Act
Lt. Governor Jon Husted and State Representative Gail Pavliga (R-Portage County), along with Tim and Tamia Woods, who lost their son James late last year after he was a victim of sextortion online, hold a press conference on the Social Media Parental Notification Act included in the Executive Version of the State Operating Budget. The initiative would require certain online companies to obtain parental consent for kids under the age of 16.
