This is your Legislative Update for the week of November 10.

In the Ohio Senate, House Bill 27 passed this week, sponsored by Representative Derickson and Letson to designate the last day in February as "Rare Disease Day"

Substitute House Bill 218 also passed, sponsored by Representative Rosenberger and Dovilla. This bill requires the LeanOhio Office in the Department of Administrative Services to establish an entrepreneur in residence pilot program

House Bill 306, sponsored by Representatives McGregor & Hackett was passed, designating a portion of I-70 within Clark County as "Trooper Charles V. Vogel, Jr. Memorial Highway.

Also passed was House Bill 552 sponsored by Representative Stautberg, which requires the Ohio Department of Health to develop an information sheet regarding Down Syndrome and for health care professionals to distribute the form to patients

Sponsored by Senator Beagle, substitute Senate Bill 69 was passed that establishes the Course and Program Sharing Network for state colleges and universities

Senate Bill 301 was also passed. Sponsored by Senator Bacon, Senate Bill 301 designates a week in May each year as "Ohio Warrior Awareness Week."
