Ohio Governor Mike DeWine will host the 39th Annual Governor's Holocaust Commemoration tomorrow at the Ohio Holocaust & Liberators Memorial outside the Ohio Statehouse.
The memorial event will include remarks from Dr. Felix Garfunkel, who survived two concentration camps before moving to Ecuador and eventually immigrating to the United States in 1958.
Donald Jakeway, a highly decorated World War II veteran, will also discuss his role in liberating a Jewish family of five found hiding in an attic in Holland's Den Heuvel Woods.
