Governor John Kasich cuts the ribbon for the new dam at Buckeye Lake State Park.
Director James Zehringer of the Department of Natural Resources was also on hand with remarks from: Director Matthew McLaren, Ohio Department of Tourism; Senator Jay Hottinger (R-Newark); Representative Ron Hood (R-Ashville); Representative Tim Shaffer (R-Lancaster); and Congressman Troy Balderson (R-Ohio). Fairfield County Commissioner David Levacy dedicated a plaque of remembrance of the event.
