Finer With Age - Green at the Ohio Governor's Residence and 2008 Nursing Home Family Satisfaction Survey
Segment 1 - Governor Ted Strickland and First Lady of Ohio Francis Strickland have been working to make the Governor's Residence more environmentally friendly, lower energy costs and illustrate how Ohioans can conserve energy and resources. In this segment, Mrs. Strickland shares with us what they have already done and their plans for the future of the residence.
Segment 2 - Erin Pettigrew, the Ohio Long-term Care Consumer Guide manager, and Paula Bourne, the administrator at Highbanks Care Center, one of the top 25 facilities in the state, discuss the 2008 Nursing Home Family Satisfaction Survey and its results. The survey shows family members of nursing home residents are generally satisfied with the care their loved ones receive. The satisfaction ratings and other information about nursing homes in the state are available on the Ohio Long-term Care Consumer Guide at www.LTCOHIO.org.
