The Federal Consumer Product Safety Commission is charged with protecting consumers from dangerous products. There have always been disagreements about what to regulate and how to do so between Republicans and Democrats, but some have serious worries that we are witnessing a radical departure from consumer product safety standards under the Trump administration. Marietta Robinson was appointed to the CPSC in 2013 and discusses how this affects consumers.
