Applause - African American Art Exhibit

If you've lived in Northeast Ohio for any length of time you've undoubtedly seen live music venues come and go. But one stabilizing presence has been vocalist Evelyn Wright. She joines us on this edition of Applause. And music with a distinctly different beat - HIP HOP...when American artist iona rozeal brown found that hip-hop had taken hold of Japanese youth in a way that went below the skin, she had to find out more, and tell the story in the best way she knew how. Plus we'll take a peek at a rich body of work contained in the exhibit From Then To Now, Masterworks of Contemporary African American Art.
