Many parents like to chronicle their family life on social media.

They post pictures and videos, celebrating their cute babies, rollicking toddlers and all those accomplishments, from kindergarten through college graduations, soccer matches, hockey trophies, academic awards and more.

When parents start to overshare online, it's known as sharenting. That practice, and the revenue that some derive from it, has attracted some negative attention.

Washington state lawmaker Emily Wicks introduced a bill last year intended to provide guide rails.

Hollywood is filled with writers, musicians, and other creators who want to make it big. Artificial intelligence is the new kid in town.

And creators want some protection.

That's one of the issues behind the Hollywood writers' strike.

Google is kicking off a week of events tomorrow known as Google I/O, which could prove critical for the search giant as it faces strong competition from Microsoft and ChatGPT, the headline-grabbing innovation in artificial intelligence.

Google's Bard hasn't received the same level of attention, but Google is planning to use Google I/O to brag about some new products.
